Elliott Black Obituary

Elliott Michael Black, 75, son of the late Samuel and Dorothy, brother of Maxine (Rosenfeld), uncle of Brian, Neal and Joshua. Fond companion of the late Sally Cohn. Born in Baltimore MD , he moved to the Chicago area after graduating from Drexel University in 1961 with a degree in electrical engineering. Furthering his education, he went on to get an MBA and law degree. He was a member and, later, life-sponsor of Tau Epsilon Phi Fraternity. He worked in engineering and led marketing efforts at Black & Decker, Cosco, Skil, Ekco and his own Northbrook-based firm , EMBA. Throughout his life, he followed his many passions, most notably as a mentalist and magician, performing and entertaining all over the world as Michael Elliott. Member of many business associations and civic organizations, he was recipient of numerous awards. He was also an active member of the Criterion Bar Association Sherlockian society.
