Elsa "Isabel" Cortes, nee Rivera, passed away June 18, 2007; beloved wife of Hernan Cortes; loving mother of Eneida and Jessica Cortes; dearest grandmother of Christian Rodriguez, Erica Vargas, and Jessica Sola; dear sister of Milagros Moises and the late Esther Rivera; fond friend and family member of many. Funeral Thursday morning from Casey-Laskowski & Sons Funeral Home 4540-50 W. Diversey Ave. to St. Genevieve Church. Mass time pending. Interment Mount Olive. Visitation Wednesday, 4 to 9 p.m. 773-777-6300.

May you find comfort knowing that Elsa's spirit will always be with you. You have lost a Wife, Mother and Grandmother but you now have an Angel protecting and guiding you from heaven.
Always remember that she loved you unconditionally and always wanted the best for you.

Hernan, Eneida and Jessica. Elsa was an absolutely wonderful woman, mother and friend. I will always remember her, her compassion and her beautiful smile!
