Elizabeth ''Bette'' O'Donnell, nee Elizabeth Ada Capen, age 78, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Barrington, IL, passed away May 27, 2005, beloved wife of Timothy O'Donnell and the late Kenneth H. Bergquist Sr.; loving mother of Karen (Tom) Schnite, Holly (Jim) Bauernsmith, Peter (Judy) Bergquist and the late Kenny H. Bergquist Jr.; cherished grandmother of Charles, Peter J., Cory, Ian and Kris; dear sister of Ruth Hartmann. Visitation Monday, May 30, 2005, 5 to 9 p.m. at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, 225 N. Main St., Wauconda, IL. Funeral Service Tuesday 10:30 a.m. from chapel to Transfiguration Church, 348 W. Mill St., Wauconda, IL. Mass 11 a.m. Interment private. Dear Peter, Holly,and Karen,

My thoughts are with you with the loss of your wonderful mother. It has been a long time since Barrington, but I will always rember Betty foundly as one of the great mothers to grow up with.

Some of my fondest memories were when your mom invited me over for lunch or dinner and we sat around the table giggling and laughling hardly able to eat our meals. How fun it was. We will all miss Betty!

Bette was the best firend that my late mother (Alma Eberli) had. During my mothers illness and death nearly 20 years ago Bette took me under her wing, sharing her love, kindness and desparately needed advise all of these years. I will miss her deeply as I know her real family will. What a gift she was.
