Masks and social distancing required and no more than 50 people in the funeral home at any one time. No food is allowed in the funeral home. Cathy & Emma, so sorry to hear about Eric’s passing. He was such a great person. Our friendship went back to Adventist in the early 90’s and although we moved away, he always made a point to reach out from time to time.

Eric's positive, kind-hearted nature resonated among all those who came in contact with him. While I only knew him for a few months, he made a lasting impact by showing genuine appreciation for the value of those relationships developed in such a short time. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones. He will truly be missed.

Eric was an exceptional friend and colleague to all of us. He was always the first to check-in after inclement weather or tough meetings. He kept us delighted with sweet anecdotes from glittery prom dresses to heroic rescues from spiders and the occasional silly Dad joke. Eric adored his family. He shared his love for the Lord and quietly exhibited character of humble service to others. We are praying for comfort and peace for dear Cathy and Emma, knowing he's resting now. Our hearts are with you both.

I started around the same time with Eric at Advantis/IBM. He was a wonderful guy and co-worker. His laughter was infectious and he made things fun. He'll be greatly missed.

I am gonna miss my Friend, Compatriot, Co-worker, and one of the best all-around folk. We never got to do that last get-together once I came on to the team. I miss your calls, your idea's your help, and your encouragement. We will meet again, I know this. Until then my friend, Gone too soon but a life well-lived.

I just started working with Eric this year as we helped each other out and bonded over a common cause. The odd thing was is that I felt like I had known Eric all my life.
We spent countless hours on Zoom calls and I really got to appreciate Eric for being an honest, kind and overall a great human being. Eric, you will be missed and the ripple effects of you departing from us will be felt.

Eric and I worked together over the past year and made an impact on me personally. When my Uncle was going through a tough time losing his job, Eric stepped up to help network and coach him. He didn't have to do this but it made a major impact. Both my Uncle and I are very thankful for what he did. A genuine person, fantastic coworker and someone who I can call a true friend. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

We are so very sorry for the tragic loss of Eric due to Covid. We also lost our brother-in-law to this horrible disease last April. I only knew Eric for the last year as a co-worker (and a virtual one at that; I was not fortunate enough to meet him in person). Yet he became a friend as soon as I met him. He was warm, caring, funny, smart, and a great joy to know. He helped me, joked back and forth with me, made me feel a welcome part of the team after I joined, and asked questions about how I was and where I lived. I feel lucky to have known Eric as long as I did; my life is better for having had him in it. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

An unbelievable light in this world. Eric's energy affected every person around him. He had an uncanny ability to get even the shyest people to open up and be themselves. I loved having 1:1 time with him, and I will cherish those memories for my life. He was a role model, an amazing contributor, and most importantly a wonderful father.
