Esther Blumenfeld, age 96, beloved wife of the late Bernard; dear mother of Dr. Ronald (Judy) Blumenfeld and Dr. Howard (Zandra Frailich) Blumenfeld; loving grandmother of Dr. Scott (Mandy) Blumenfeld, Dr. Daniel (Michelle) Blumenfeld, Susan (Dr. Howard) Marcus, Robert (Melanie) Blumenfeld, Bonnie Blumenfeld Willis and Rebecca Blumenfeld; great-grandmother of Callie, Hannah, Lauren, Abby, Molly, Ethan and Darilyn Blumenfeld, Benjamin, Matthew and Joseph Marcus and Isabel Willis. Service Thursday, 2:30 p.m. at The Piser Chapel, 9200 Skokie Blvd. (at Church St.). Interment Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to L.A. Jewish Home for the Aging, Attn. Ronnie, Judy Howard and Zandra:
My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of mourning. Esther was the youngest of the Gray family and the only girl. I know that if my father, Henry, were here today he would say that she will always be remebered as the spark of light and happiness. May your memories of Esther bring peace to your life.
