Pawlicki, age 96, of Lyons, IL, formerly of Chicago, Logan Square community, WWII Navy Veteran, loving husband of Ramute (Roma), nee Mekionyte and the late Dorothy, nee Kasin; dearest father of Richard (Judith), Timothy, Mark (Laurie) and Jeffrey (Adrian); cherished grandfather of 11, great-grandfather of 14; fond brother of the late Adrienne
Petersen and Chester Pawlicki; many other relatives and close friends. Funeral Service Saturday, April 5, 2008 8:30 a.m. from Tower Home For Funerals 4007 S. Joliet Ave., (not Joliet Road- between Harlem and First Ave., just south of Ogden Ave.) Lyons, IL to St. Hugh Church for 9 a.m. Mass Interment Mount Auburn Cemetery, Stickney, IL Member of the Illinois Pioneers of America, Hawthorn Chapter. Retired with many years of service from Western Electric as a rolling mill operator. Visitation Friday 3 to 9 p.m. Flowers are welcome. Info:

Eugene married my oldest sister Dorothy when I was 8 yrs old. He was like the big brother I never had. I knew I could always count on him -- and boy did I ever.. One time I had a very sick child at home and could not drive. Dorothy & Eugene immediately dropped everything came over and took my near death child to the hospital. My dear brother in law, you will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss.. Uncle Eugene lived many happy years! I will miss his annual birthday party -- it was a good chance to see the family on a happy occassion.
