Flossie Van Allen, 95, of Wheaton since 1959, beloved wife of the late Jerome; dear mother of Merril (Thomas) Tlusty, and
Michael Van Allen; proud step grandmother of William (Valeria) Tlusty; step great-grandmother of Patty, Thomas and Jesse Tlusty; step great-great-grandmother of Taylor; sister of Evelyn Fikejs, and the late Forrest Swenson; aunt of many; and sister-in-law of Josie Swenson. Visitation Sunday, Dec. 14, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton where services will be held on Monday, Dec. 15, at 11 a.m. Interment Wheaton Cemetery. I wish to offer my sincere sympathies to my cousins Merril Tlusty and Michael Van Allen on the passing of their beloved mother Flossie. It is a time of sadness but moreover it is a time to truly celebrate a life which saw 95 years of life on this earth and contributed in so many ways to her family and community. What a blessing....
