Frances Ann Meschler

1938 - 2017

Frances Ann Meschler (nee Rodelli), born August 28, 1938, in Chicago, IL, died August 7, 2017, in Houston, TX. A resident of Chicago most of her adult life, she was a graduate of St. Williams Cardinal Stritch High School. Frances worked many years as a cashier for Jewel Foods, followed by several years as a stay at home mother. Then in 1974, until her retirement in 1998, she worked as a benefits administrator for Osco Drugs. During this time, she also worked with disabled children. She was a lifelong animal lover, especially dogs. Frances is preceded in death by her devoted husband of 55 years, Michael Frank Meschler, and her parents Emilio and Ann Rodelli. She is survived by her son, Michael Meschler, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Deborah Meschler; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Alex Jasinowski; brothers-in-law, Charles and Frank Meschler; seven nieces, two great nephews, many cousins and many friends. Visitation and a Memorial Service will be held at Darst Funeral Home in Kingwood, TX, Saturday, August 12, 2017.
