Tom & I got to enjoy your dad on our many weekends at the Rita & Jim Coughlin's place in WI. Our children were younger than you all, so we did not get to meet you there. Sending our love & prayers. Your mom was so sweet and your dad--a character!

Dear family & friends,
I am the Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus Council 2191. I remember stories that Frank you to tell regarding his work on the police force and how he use to pick up and deliver sandwiches for his son who was working at the Chicago Stock Exchange. I visited Frank a couple times when he moved to Elmhurst and also called him this Spring during Covid. Frank was an inspiration and and mentor for the Knights, I'm sorry I did not hear sooner about his passing.

To the family of Francis Higgins ,My name is Joanne Fee and my dad was with the Army Air Corps as a bombardier w the 8thArmy AirCorps known as Hell’s Angels . He did 35 missions over Germany based in Molesworth England .Being a true Southside Irish kid from Chicago I read the trib obits first thing everyday . I wanted to say thank you to your dad for his service to country and city .I am also married to 30 yrs of military and police service . Again my sympathy to your family . My dad passed in May of 2000.

We are sorry to hear about your wonderful dad Frank. The Learas family has so many fond memories of growing up with the Higgins clan in Chicago and Wisconsin. Frank & Loretta will always have a special place in our hearts. I know our Dad is up there so excited to see his old buddy again! Love to all of you!
