FRANK BAUER
Frank (Frankel) Bauer, 76, a longtime resident of Chicago. Born in Morawitz, Romania on December 6, 1934 and immigrated to the US in 1955. In his youth he excelled as a competitive cyclist, skilled chess player and served in the US Army. He had a successful career as an electrical contractor running a business for over 20 years. Frank will always be remembered for his kind heart, endless generosity, sharp humor, and resiliency. Passed peacefully December 19, at his family home; survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Lana; his children Erich (Jane) and Carina; his sister Eva Sheehan, his brother-in-law Peter (Diane) Woronecki; many nieces and nephews; predeceased by his brothers, Phillip and Nikolaus Bauer. Resting at Theis-Gorski Funeral Home, 3517-27 N. Pulaski Rd., Chicago, Sunday, December 26, from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Monday, 11 a.m. from Theis-Gorski Funeral Home followed by burial at St. Luke Cemetery. To the the Bauer family,I wish you all better days to come, frank and Lana gave me a chance when no one else did.I am still in the electrical industry due in no small part to frank. May god welcome frank home with open arms,theirs a big party and some re-wiring happening in heaven. god bless the Bauer Family.
