Frank J. Misek, age 86, a lifelong Westmont resident, beloved husband for 52 years to the late Jacqueline (Sept. 2, 2005); loving father of Carl (Johnna) Misek and Gail (Robert) Reese; devoted grandfather of Samantha, Christopher, the late Theodore, Angela and Tamara; dear brother of Virginia Ray; cherished uncle of Susan, Sally and Sandi. A charter member of the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ of Downers Grove. A charter member of (1947), past commander of and current treasurer of The Westmont V.F.W. Post #9267, fought in the Battle of the Bulge, first division to cross the Ramagen Bridge over the Rhine River. A volunteer fireman in Westmont, IL for 25 years. A Cub Scout leader for three years, he and his wife, Jacqueline were voted 1989 Citizen of the Year, Westmont, IL. A Veteran's Service will be Friday evening. Memorials to First Christian Church would be appreciated. Visitation will be Friday 6 to 9 p.m. at Toon Funeral Home, 109 N. Cass Avenue, Westmont.
