I only met Fred one time, that was at the wedding of Jenny and Scott. I am very sorry for your loss, my deepest sympathy goes out to the family.

Fred leaves behind a close knit family and many friends. I first met Fred as my sister-in-law to be, Jenny, and my brother Scott began dating in 1977 and our family actually knew Fred since the early '70s as he serviced our well at a summer home. As my Mother said yesterday at his Memorial Service, we just called the local well company and Fred came out to help and quote on the repair and within a half hour, they all were sitting on the sofa having coffee and laughing as if they knew him all their lives. Then when Scott married his daughter, the family's joined and to this day, my 10 year old felt that Fred was her grandfather too!

Looking at all my memories of Fred, I don't recall ever hearing a bad thing said about him or from him, just a great all around person and someone I am lucky to have gotten to know. He touched many lives and will live in our memories and in the kindness he showed us all.
