Please accept my most heartfelt condolences. Doctor Neal took care of me over fifty years ago for two and a half weeks over the Christmas holiday season, at Holy Family Hospital. Using an innovative technique, he repaired a devastating injury which healed as if by a miracle. I have been able to live a completely normal life with the full use of my arm, including pitching countless hours of batting practice to my son's baseball teams and many hundreds (thousands?) of rounds of golf. What a brilliant doctor! Such a patient and kind man to be able to carefully explain to a small boy how his arm would be OK. I am terribly sad to hear of your loss.

Bryan and family - unique means one of a kind. That's Fred. He will be so irreplaceable in so many ways. Heaven knows the gratitude of my family for all the effort he gave taking care of them for over 35 years, but also the support he gave them in troubled times. He was always as good at pulling a leg as repairing one and that unstoppable sense of humor kept everyone in a better place when trouble struck. Of course, my family were not the only patients to whom he gave his best and I know I speak for the others he helped me care for for over 25 years. He was not only a valuable colleague and consultant but also the guy to shoot out a zinger at his fellow physicians to either rile something up or defuse an argument he stumbled into. This Yankee will miss being told what he and his have been doing wrong since Reconstruction as no one else ever made sure to tell me or make me laugh so hard about it.
God speed, Fred, and thanks for everything, mostly, just for being you.

A genuine man who always had stories and opinions for every occasion. He took an interest in all and helped countless individuals. I am disappointed our travels prevent us from being with family and friends.
Peaceful journey Fred
