I met Gary through a business relationship over 20 years ago. That business relationship developed into a strong friendship. Gary was a genuinely great guy who loved his family deeply. He was funny, humble, generous to a fault, dependable and loyal. I was fortunate to get invited to Gary's annual golf trip to Doral. After asking me for a few years, I finally agreed to attend and it proved to be a better trip than advertised. Lots of golf, lots of cigars, lots of laughs, lots of good natured insults about each others golf games, lots of lost balls, lots of great food and adult beverages were the hallmarks of the annual trip. Gary pulled this trip off for 25 years and made it the type of trip you couldn't wait for the next year to pass so you could go again. Thank you for the memories you helped create for me. Thank you for your friendship. Thank you for allowing Karen and me into your life and making us feel like extended family. I'm smiling as I write this - you always had that positive vibe that made you fun to be around. Miss you Gary. Planning to have a Jack Daniels Manhattan with a splash of cherry juice in your honor. Cheers my friend.
Love, Mike and Karen Bender
