Mr. Karstens was my first principal when I graduated from college. I was the first grade teacher at Washington School. I always had fond memories of Mr. Karstens. To the family and friends of George Karstens my sincerest sympathy. George was my principal in the 1950's & 60's at Home School and later hired me as a teacher at Robinson School in 1972. He was a special person who loved his students and his family. I'm glad to have shared my life with him in so many ways. He often spoke to me about how proud he was of his own children. He will be dearly missed.

Bud and I were among the members of Faith Presbyterian Church's softball teams in the late 40's and early 50's. I attended his wedding. Heartfelt condolences.
