George King Obituary
George was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of 50 years, Kathleen (nee Hanrahan) King; his first son Daniel King; and his parents George and Anne King.
He is survived by his children Maribeth (James) Conyne, Donna (George) Spadoni, Timothy (Laura) King, Denise (Carl) Swanson, and Kathy (Terry) King; 12 grandchildren whom he especially adored, Alexandra King, Elizabeth King Geary, Kathryn Spadoni Stelpflug, Michael Spadoni, Kevin Swanson, Stephanie King Hebert, Brendan King, Kyle Swanson, Kristopher Swanson, Patrick King, Bridget King and Matthew King and his first great grandchild on the way; his brother Roger (Linda) King; and he was loved and honored by many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life memorial mass will take place at a future date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution is appreciated to Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, 1140 W. Jackson Blvd, Chicago IL 60607.
