Dear Jean & Family,
So sorry for your loss. I lived across the street from the family in Bellwood for many years. He will be remembered as so many things. Fun loving, friend, public voice, father, husband, and in general a great person! You will be missed. My thoughts & prayers are with Jean & family at this most difficult time.

Mrs. Sourile - although i never had the opportunity to meet your husband, I spoke with him many times over the years.
Mr. Sourile had the ability to turn
a bad day frown into a smile.
I looked forward to his
annual calls to our office -
- Duke's charming words
always made me laugh.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I saw this notice today and called my Mom immediately - I had always heard about "Duke" Sourile when I was growing up. My Mom, Lorraine (Sourile) Danhoff was his first cousin and as she's 84 now and recovering from illness, she still remembered him fondly as a kind, smart and wonderful man in his youth. God Bless you all. It runs in the family I see. We're very sorry for your loss.
