GEORGE STEFELY Obituary
George F. Stefely, 81, of Streamwood; beloved husband of the late Mary T. nee Dutton; loving father of Patricia (Donald) Shannon, Carol (Herb) Johnson, Mary Jo (Nick) Andrea, George, Bob and Jim (Mary); proud grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of five; dear brother of Mary (Joseph) Ciliak, Stephen (Helen) Stefely and the late Therese Benedik and Helen (John) Tartol. George proudly served in the National Guard from 1948 until 1955. Visitation Sunday, 2 to 8 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 333 S. Roselle Rd. (1/2 mi south of Irving Park Rd.) Roselle. Funeral Monday 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society 1801 S. To the Stefely Families, my sympathy to you all on your loss. I liked George's mechanichal aptitude. He was an inventor. I was amazed when he came to my home, asked for a screw driver and proceeded to take my computer apart, and fix it. What a guy. Rest easy friend. Bob Rylowicz
