Father Poage was the son of my great aunts sister in law. When he came through Des Moines he shared time with us-taking me to the fair and the lake. He gifted me a crystal rosary blessed by the pope which is buried with my aunt Eileen. I also have a copy of one of the books he authored. He was a generous and kind man who I remember fondly from the short time I knew him over 50 years ago.
