Grace Jarasius Obituary

Grace Jarasius, 70, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at The Pearl of Naperville. She was born on February 18, 1950 in Hammond, IN to Casmir and Helen Zaleski, the oldest of three sisters. She graduated from Northern Illinois University and received a Masters degree from Governors State University. On March 7, 1981, she married Edmund Jarasius. Grace was a dedicated educator, life-long Bears fan, and lover of inventions. She is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years, Ed; daughter Katherine (Zach) Beer; sister Pat Kalocin (David Kalocinski); lifelong friends Judy Krugman and Carol Laurie; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Loretta Radowski. No services will be held at this time. Grace will be cremated and interred at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Grace's name to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, Death With Dignity, or Chicago HOPES for Kids.
