I remember playing golf with Greg at a class of 1973 reunion a few years ago. Great guy. He was one of many Chicago high school football players recruited by Bob Anderson that graced the Yale Bowl.

I have been trying to reach Greg for the past month to no avail of course. Greg was a good friend and came to our home every year for Thanksgiving diner except this past year. Many times his friend Mark would come as well. Greg was the most brilliant legal mind I've ever known. We would talk for hours about different cases. I learned a lot from Greg. We will miss him. If a memorial is scheduled we would very much appreciate any information.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

The last time I saw Greg was at our law school graduation ceremony in 1976. But I have some pretty vivid memories of him. First, he was very bright and hardworking. Second, having played varsity football at Yale, he was in ridiculously good condition. His thighs were so large I remember him telling me he had to have his pants tailored or altered in some way so he could get into them. Third, he was modest. He told me that he spent his career as Fullback at Yale, but not carrying the ball- but blocking for Yale's big star of that time, Dick Jauron. A great guy. May his memory be eternal.
