Harvey Sherman, 87; beloved husband of Lillian, nee Wolnak, for 65 years; loving father of Dr. Ira Sherman, Carol Sherman (Dr. Max) Haid, and James (Linnea); cherished grandfather of Joshua, Jeremy, Shira, David, Isaac, and Avery; fond brother of Dr. Alan Sherman; dear uncle, cousin and friend of many. Chapel service 2:30 p.m. Monday at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment at Shalom Memorial Park. Harvey and I became business associates 27 years ago when I brought my first shrinkwrap machine overs the years he became one of my best friends sharing talks about our children and grandchrildren the rights and wrongs of my business he was a very wonderful person and I will miss him very much.
