Henry Colonna, passed away at home surrounded by his family, at the age of 81. Beloved husband of the late Lorraine L., nee Rabe, for 54 beautiful years; devoted father of Donna (Albert) Ruhl, and Karen (Marty) Petlicki; loving son of the late Peter, and the late Evelyn, nee Gambelli, Colonna; fond grandmother of Jessica and Tiffany, Christopher and Matthew; dear brother of Vera (George) Schechtel; dear uncle and great-uncle to many. Funeral Saturday, July 23, 9 a.m., Family and friends to gather directly at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 1023 S. McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake, IL, for a one hour viewing, immediately followed by the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, 1185 W. Algonquin Rd., Palatine, IL. Visitation Friday, July 22, 3 to 9 p.m., at SALERNO'S-ROSEDALE CHAPELS, JOSEPH A. RUSSO FUNERAL DIRECTOR, 450 W. Lake St., Roselle, IL, 60172 (3/4 mile W. of Bloomingdale/ Roselle Rd). Henry will be dearly missed by all of us, especially by his long time buddy, Louie. In the past few years they've been able to get back in touch and have had some of the best visits, full of memories and a lot of laughs! Henry was such a giving person, and was always willing to help! Our love, heartfelt sympathies and thoughts are with both of you, Karen and Donna, and your families! Sending warm hugs to all of you!!!
