Dear Ruth:
We have had the pleasure of sharing a wonderful friendship and the joys of Aspen with you and Herb over the past seven years.
Herb was to us the very embodiment of an intelligent, refined, cultivated gentleman of the "old school". A man of integrity, and someone who you count on to do the right thing.
We were always amazed at the number of your friends and acquaintances and the breadth of your interests. Herb will be deeply missed by the Aspen Community and especially by those at Aspen Alps who relied on his leadership for so many years. We hope you will gain some comfort in knowing the respect and admiration in which we held Herb. All our love, Sue and Herb
