Ira is survived by Sandy, and their 4 sons - Joshua Bornstein (Rachael Israel), Adam Bornstein (Rachel Spatt Bornstein), Aaron Bornstein (Candice), Jordan Bornstein (Kayla Garthwaite) and 7 grandchildren- Avram, Amari, Bode, Asher, Max, Isabella, and Oliver. He is also survived by his mother, Shirley Bornstein, and 4 brothers, Bruce Bornstein (Maureen), Ian Bornstein, Scott Bornstein (Ruth), & Mitchell Bornstein.
Funeral services were in Boulder Colorado. Contributions to National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS) Colorado Walk-Keep Moving No Regret Team.
