Jack Johnson
Jack Connell Johnson 81 of Evanston Illinois passed away suddenly after battling dementia and early stage alzheimer's. Jack was a beloved husband to Eileen Johnson "Novak", dedicated and loving father to Britt and Kyle Johnson, devoted brother to Marjory Johnson and the late William Johnson, grandfather to Dylan Johnson, and cherished friend of many. Jack played football for The Miami Hurricanes from 1954 to 1956, recognized as an All American, and inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2008. Jack played for the Chicago Bears from 1957-59, the Buffalo Bills from 1960-61 and the Dallas Texans. A celebration of Jack's life will be held from 2-4:30pm Saturday October 24th at Tommy Nevin's Pub at 1454 Sherman Ave in Evanston IL.

So sorry to hear of Jack's passing. I enjoyed knowing both of you the last few years. Just lost track of you after you moved from Evanston. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Eileen, and the rest of Jack's family.
