JACQUELINE PHILLIPS Obituary

Jacqueline Starr Phillips asleep in angels arms, died gracefully as she lived with her loving family at her side May 15 in St. Louis. Born to John J. and Julia Starr August 29, 1913 in Toronto, Canada, she graduated Nicholas Senn High School and in 1949 married Joseph L. Phillips. Highland Park was home for 43 years until a 1998 move to St. Louis. Jackie was a tireless worker and single mom who provided a great life for her sons with jobs at Peterson Pontiac, First National Bank/Lake Forest, Allstate, and Engler, Zoglin, & Mann. She loved traveling with friends, reading, gardening, British TV shows, Crosswords, and visiting her grandchildren. Jackie is the beloved mother of Peter Starr Phillips of Mobile, AL and Guy Adams Phillips (Kim) of St. Louis. She is the loving "Gaga" of Leigh Phillips (SF), Dana Phillips, (CHI), and Geoffrey Phillips (STL/USC), loving step-grandma of Kevin, Sammi, & Jack Petite of St. Louis. Her parents, John, Julia, and sister Constance Northway predeceased Jackie. All will miss her deep, honest laugh, twinkling blue eyes, and wonderful spirit! Don't get in trouble until we get there, "MooDoo!" Services: Private Skokie graveside services. Contributions to A.L.I.V.E. or the St. Louis Area Foodbank are appreciated.
