Gavin Jr., age 84, of Winnetka, husband of Zita Gavin; father of William, M.D. (Jacki), James (Shawn), Kevin, Steven and Peter Gavin; grandfather of William, Sarah, John, Matthew, Elizabeth, Emily, Catherine and Madeleine Gavin. Visitation Monday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd., at Old Orchard Rd., Skokie. Funeral Mass Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Lake Ave. and Ridge Rd., Wilmette. Interment private at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
