My experience with my brother Jim was so awesome! His insight will not go forgotten. He could brighten the coldest dreary winters day. He had a great infectious smile. I will close with James 1:12! ( NASV ) Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial ; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love him.

I had Mr. Green for Film Appreciation class, 5th hour my senior year in 1975. Not only did I learn about film on many different levels, I experienced a passionate human being who not only took great interest in the subject but also the students he was teaching.

He was one of the "cool" teachers at the HS, well liked, respected, and enjoyed. I would come into class with an ice cream cone nearly every day and while most teachers would make you toss the cone, Mr. Green was genuinely happy to see you and never mentioned a word about the ice cream. I can't say for sure, but somehow I think it was amusing to him.

By far one of the best teachers I ever had. There was no one else like him. To this day I share stories of some of the films we watched and some of the discussions we had during his class. He was a whole lot more than just a teacher. You will be missed Mr. Green. My deepest sympathies to his family. I hope you will celebrate his wonderful legacy and keep him in your hearts forever!
