Visitation Tuesday 3-9 P.M. at Lawn Funeral Home 17909 S. 94th Ave. Tinley Park, IL 60487. Family will be meeting at St. Rita of Cascia Shrine Chapel, 7740 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL 60620, Wednesday for a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment Private. James was a long time employee at the CBOE. Funeral Info: 708-532-3100.

I am so sorry for your loss of Jim. We went to St.Rita grammar school together! He was always a good kid/man. He was our 8th grade Class President. We hung around w/ the same group of friends...went to the same parties & roller skating parties @ the Fleetwood Roller Rink! I will always remember Jimmy Halm fondly. R.I.P. Jim. God bless all the Halm families.

I grew up with Jim. He was so full of life. When he cared about something he went at it 100%. Friends, football, job, I am sure his family too....most of all this journey we call life. You will be sorely missed, Jim. You can rest now. You earned it.
