James KINAHAN Obituary
James J. Kinahan, 80, Ret. CPD, Korean War Air Force Vet, beloved husband of Dian, nee Law; loving son of the late Hugh and Nora Kinahan; dear brother of William (the late Sandra) and the late Thomas. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cherished relatives in Ireland. Funeral Friday, 9:15 a.m. from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn to St. Rita of Cascia Shrine Chapel, 7740 S. Western Ave., Chicago. Mass 10 a.m. Interment private. Visitation Thursday, 3 to 9 p.m. Proud "class of '51" alumni of St. Rita of Cascia High School, 57 year "Life" member of Evergreen Park American Legion Post 854 and 2004 "Man of the Year" member of the Groundhogs. Dian, Jim was true a Gentleman. He took great pride in his job and was always willing to help his fellow Youth Officers. He will be missed by many.
