I just found out last night at the Corner Stones of Rock concert, Aracada Theatre in St. Charles, IL that Jimi passed away. Condolences to family and friends of Jimi. I've seen Jimi perform numerous times and his voice was awesome. What a great performer. I had the chance to speak to Jimi and shake his hand at one of the concerts and he was just a great guy. Rest in Peace Jimi. The next time I play my Fender 6 string, I will play G.L.O.R.I.A. for you. One of my favorite songs from the 60's.
