I met Janet in December of 2020 when she moved into Brookdale Senior Living in Orland Park. It was an especially tough time for a move like this as the pandemic was hitting hard and at that time and families could not visit their loved ones. As an activities assistant, I was able to visit Janet every day and help help her get settled in to her apartment. I found her to be a lovely person. I send my heartfelt sympathy to her children and all who knew her. She was a great lady and will be missed.

Dear Cathy, Charlie, Noel, Charlie V, Caitie, Greg, Terri, Val, David, Dylan, Jenifer and Dane, I am sorry for the loss of your mom, grandmother, great-grandmother Janet. I have know Janet for over 40 years. She was called grandma by my children and has been family to many of our family events. She even attended Allie's Christening in California and managed to get plant cuttings from Dick Martin's yard and bring them back to Chicago. Janet was there for our family gatherings and we always enjoyed her company for the 4th of July music and fireworks... 1812 overture. She was a part of giving out candy for Halloween while the kids went trick or treating. She attended most Christmas Night gatherings at our house. I believe Janet enjoyed life. Her can do and get it done spirit will be missed. We love you Janet, Sue, Allie, Frankie and Frank

Grandma Janet, or Grandama Tootie, was an amazing women. I has been an honor and privilege growing up with her and getting to know her, I always felt as if she treated me as if I was her grand-daughter, even though we were not related by blood or marriage. She has been a part of my life and up bringing for as long as I can remember and she will be truly missed.
