after battling cancer like a warrior; Survived by her husband of 51 years, Wayne Hermann; Loving mother of Janine (Mark) George (CPD), John (Bridget) Hermann (CFD); Proud granny of Nick (Annie) George, Matthew Hermann, Jack Hermann, Janna "Bird" George and Luke Hermann; Beloved sister and Best Friend of Nancy O'Malley; Preceded in death by her loving parents Roman and Esther Szumnarski and brother Roman Szumnarski; Proud auntie to the best nieces and nephews. A mass to Celebrate Janice's life will be held at St. Francis Borgia Church, 8033 W. Addison St. Chicago, Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 11:00 am.
