I had the privilege of working with Jeff during the 90's at Omron. Jeff was helpful to me in my career as a fledgling Marketing person. He gave me insight on how to produce sound Marketing presentations which I still use today. I will never forget his "Next Generation" PLC presentation.
My God bless the Meyer family. He will be missed...

It is with great sadness to hear of Jeff's passing. I recently sent Jeff a note to express some intimate thoughts and happy memories of shared experiences, but fear it did not arrive in time. I am confident, though, that Jeff knew exactly how everyone from his Omron family felt about him... especially me!
Jeff helped me establish a successful career as a Salesman at Omron by believing in me and trusting in me as I started at Omron over 13 years ago. He took a heavy risk by supporting my initiative into a new industry when others did not. In fact, part of our success was because our customer trusted that Jeff would help solve problems that would eventually arise... and he did!
It is difficult to express feelings for someone willing to take risks for you and believe in you. But that is why Jeff truly earned people's respect, trust, and friendship... as he did mine.
Jeff has been an anchor for many years at Omron, no matter what his role, providing guidance and optimism for the future. He will continue to serve as a role model for many of us lucky enough to have been his friend.
My deepest condolences and wish for happier days ahead go to Laurie, Alyssa and Emily... the true loves of his very full life!

To the Family, Friends and Loved Ones of Jeff Meyers;
It is with deep sympathy that I offer my sincere condolences for your loss. I met Jeff on my very first day at Omron in 2005 and he made me feel like a welcomed part of the OEI family. His demeanor, attitude and uplifting spirit were always so positive and inspiring….he will truly be missed.

Dear Laurie, Alyssa, Emily and family,
Its so hard to find the words to tell you how we feel about Jeff. We got the news on our vacation so we couldn't be at the funeral and we are so sorry for that. But we have been praying for you all. We have had great memories with White Sox games and Halloween parties, and Indian Princes. And just watching the girls grow up. He will be miss but his spirit will always be here. We love you all and will continue to pray for you always. We miss you. Love Mike, Kim, Tawni, Sierra and Logan Ricketts

During my tenure at Omron, I knew Jeff as a co-worker, a boss, but most importantly as a friend. Jeff was truly genuine in his friendship and concern for others. He had a gift for making everyone's day a bit brighter. He will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I'd like to express my deepest sympathies and fondest wishes to all Jeff's family.
Jeff and I started working for Omron the same year, and for the last 17 years he has been a model of compassionate strength and kindness to me and others. During this time at different periods, he has been my co-worker, my boss, my mentor and my friend. His positive attitude always made the day seem a little better and the problem a little less, after you spoke with him.
He is missed. My prayers, and my family's prayers, go out to your family.

Dear Meyers Family,
Jeff was a pleasure to know and to work with, as well as one of the few people I've ever met that never had a bad word to say about anyone, nor did I ever hear him complain about his illness. Not ever. He was an inspiration to me when I was sick. Always encouraging. He was a kind man, always willing to lend a hand, and always with a smile. He stopped by my desk one day, and said, "Congratulate me! I'm finally done with my Chemo, and I feel great!!" I was so happy for him. It was a great shock to hear of his passing. I will miss him very much as we all will, but I have faith to know he is still here, just on the other side of the door.
Sincerely,
Margaret Beaumont

I am honored to have an opportunity to work with Jeff during my stay in Chicago from 1998 to 2003. I cannot forget his smile and positive thinking. I was very much influenced from him and deeply appreciate his sincere support to me.
Right before I moved to U.S., he encouraged me and welcomed me as a member of OEI when I met him at Mishima, Japan for the first time.
Jeff gave me an email to say hello this May. He didn't say anything special but it conveyed me his gentleness.
He is missed. Best wishes to Laurie and his kids.

I had the pleasure of working with Jeff at Omron for the past 10 years. I always thought of him as truly genuine always so positive and upbeat and Oh that smile and laugh so highly contagious. He was a wealth of knowledge and always very helpful to me through the years. We would share stories of our daughters who were close in age. Jeff will certainly be missed by all. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this difficult time.

It has been an honor and privelage to have worked with Jeff the last 17 years at Omron. His enthuasism was infectious and his guidance was priceless. My fondest memories are of business trips with Jeff, we always managed to squeeze in some fun after the business day. Last year Jay Anthony (a colleague), Jeff, and I spent a very nice evening in a restaurant overlooking the gulf of Mexico in Kemah, Tx. Jeff of course was digging into a desert... his favorite part of the meal. He is missed. Best wishes to Laurie and his beautiful kids.

I have had the privelege of working beside Jeff for the last seventeen years at Omron. He was a boss, co-worker, but above all, a mentor for myself and others. His friendship was warm and supporting, kind and appreciative, and intuitive and wise. We all will miss him greatly. His employees knew him as a "family first" type of guy and set the example on how to lead by mentorship. I remember fondly road trips that we have taken, dinners where extra-curricular activities were shared and discussions on how each other's families were changing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and the extended clan.

Jeff and I started at Omron around the same time and worked together for 10 years. We had so much fun and he always made me laugh. He was extremely generous and kind, inviting me to those great BBQs at his parents house. I will always remember him and the love and admiration he had for his family, especially his beautiful wife and daughters. He will truly be missed.

I worked with Jeff for a long time at Omron. He was a wonderful person with so much love and such a wonderful personality. I was laid off from Omron in 2001. I still would think of everyone there especially Jeff because of his smile. He will be missed so much. I am so glad I was given the opportunity to know him.

Jeff was a friend of Kenneth and Marylou Kadziela. We are Marylou's parents and Kenneth is a wonderful son-in-law. We knew Jeff and in spite of his struggle with his physical body was always "up" giving smiles and helping others. Our children will miss Jeff. He was one of those people we could all learn from.
With deepest sympathy to Jeff's family and friends, John and Irene Johnson.

I won't be able to cut my grass or wash my car without thinking of Jeff and smiling. He would almost invariably always drive by when I'd be doing either of the two and shout out the window "hey, can you come do mine?" There's a smile that he always brought to my face and that's how I'll remember my neighbor but most importantly, my friend...I'll miss you Jeff, but you know that we'll be there for your Girls!

Jeff's love for children was evident through his active participation in Indian Guides. He brought people together in his work, and got them involved doing new and challenging things. His attitude toward life was and is a light that shines for us. We will miss him but somehow feel he is with us in our every day life, still. Heartfelt sympathies and prayers for his family.
