Jesse Buttry was my dad. I have lived with him for the past 2-3 years. Hadn't lived with him since I had been a teenager. Didn't know if I could do it, we didn't always see eye to eye...I wouldn't change these past years for all the tea in china. Dad, Lauren and I miss you every single day, and so does mom. You were certainly like no one else I have ever met, and I love you for the way you took care of our sick mother all these years. Miss you, Dad. xxoo Love, Susan and Lauren and Mom

I've known Jesse since the early 60's. He was a big hearted man who took me hunting and taught me the beauty of, and how to appreciate, the outdoors.
My mother would take me to Jesse and Eleanor's house so often that they became "Uncle Jesse and Aunt Eleanore."
I lost contact with Jesse and Eleanore over the years but always manage to remember the good times I had with "Uncle Jesse" out in Wyoming deer hunting.
I'm deeply saddened by his passing and wish to express my deepest sympathy to his family. He was a great man and a wonderful person.
