Joan Ricciuti (nee Salzman), age 88, beloved wife of the late Joseph "Joe; loving mother of Nancy (Richard) Nethercott, James, Patricia 'Trish' (Pete) Gehrke and Laura 'Laurie' (John) Zawadzki; caring grandmother of Eric, Emily and Lee Nethercott and Nicole 'Coli' and Dan Zawadzki; cherished daughter of the late Bernard and Winifred Salzman; dear sister of John Salzman, Betty (the late Chick) Graffy, and Don (Putzie) Salzman, fond aunt to many nieces and nephews. Visitation Monday October 11 4-8 PM at Lawn Funeral Home, 17909 S. 94th Ave. Tinley Park. Covid-19 regulations, visitors must wear masks when attending the visitation, loitering is not permitted to accommodate all guests. Funeral Tuesday 9:00 AM from Lawn Funeral Home to St. Stephen Deacon and Martyr Church Mass 9:30 A.M., Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery. Joan was a long-time volunteer and employee at St. Bede the Venerable School, and an active volunteer at her kids' schools, St. Bede, and St Stephen Deacon and Martyr Church. She loved going out 'bumming': shopping, going to the movies and stopping for lunch. Joan and Joe enjoyed taking many cruises and traveling to many countries. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, 1140 W. Jackson Blvd, Chicago IL 60607, would be appreciated. Funeral info 708-532-3100.
