Though it's taken me a while to discover this guest book, Joanne and her family have known for weeks that they were in my thoughts and prayers. That won't change. For 20+ years Mrs. O'Connor showed only love, kindness and peace to me and Katie's other friends. I will miss her and I feel her family is blessed by their own personal angel.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I learned of Joanne's passing from Jerry who is one of the vendors that I work directly with at Collette Vacations. Our deepest sympathy.

I just learned of Joanne's passing
this afternoon. I am stunned and
deeply saddened. I knew Jo had
been sick in the past, but thought
her illness was in remission.
Joanne was a respected peer and
business associate with whom I have
shared programs over the years.
She has been a sub contractor to our company...and we have been to hers...! And thanks to her, for 13 years, we had offices in the same building. Since I've moved four years ago, our paths have not
crossed as often, except for association happenings but we remained mutually fond of one another
Joanne was an excellent destination
planner and a wonderful wife and mother ...so proud of her family
and always happy to share updates.
We spent some of our exchanges lamenting the woes of the industry,
as there are challenges as well as joys, but Joanne thoroughly enjoyed
the essence of what she did, and
it brought her success and admiration.
She has left us much too soon, and
I will be one of the many who will
miss her personally and professionally.
Goethe once wrote that "life is but
the childhood of our immortality"
If so, I know we will all see each
other again in a place of peace and
love, where stress and pain will
have no existence.
Until then Joanne and her family
remain in my prayers every day.
With fond thoughts,

Joanne was always a true inspiration for me. After having my first child, I thought I would never have to work again!!!!!!!!!...but, with Joanne as my sister-in-law...........things changed......and I loved working for her. She always had an aura about her-strong yet elegant, warm yet honest, caring, dependable............full of energy, creativity, imagination, and a great sense of humor. I loved her dearly and express my deepest sympathy to all her family.

My dear, dear sister Joanne who has been my best buddy, my soul mate, my counselor, my consoler, and my ever-present support every day of my life will be terribly missed. No one ever gave more generously of her time, talents and genuine love to all who knew her. Be at peace now in the loving hands of God. Your Sister Carol
