July 13, 2008

My deepest condolences go to the Braue family. I know this must time of year must be particularily hard because I remember how much the Colonel loved the Fourth of July. One of my fondest childhood memories involve a Fourth of July in Edwardsville, in which the day was capped off by fireworks that we watched from the country club.

I will always remember the Colonels positive attitude. Before I left for college Colonel Braue imparted this philosophy that success comes in cans - I can, you can, we can. To this day, I unfailingly remind my self of these words when I am faced w/a tough situation.

The Braue family is in my thoughts and prayers.
