Hi, Alayne. You don't know me, although I think we met briefly at Terry's wake/funeral. So sorry for the loss of your husband John, and your brother-in-law Terry. I never met John, but Terry spoke so highly of both his brothers, that I felt like I knew them. I had always wanted to meet Terry's family, albeit under better circumstances. Losing a loved one is hard, whether it's a spouse, an in-law, or a friend. If you'd ever like to go for coffee, dinner, shopping, or just talk, please feel free to contact me. I believe one can never have too many friends, and I would love to get to know those who were close to Terry, and loved him as much as I did, if not more so.

Dear Alayne,
I just got back in town and was sent a an email about John. I am so very sorry for your loss. I was looking forward to seeing you and John at our upcoming 50th Reunion from Resurrection.
John was one of my dearest friends during that time. We were in the same class and I babysat for his brothers and got to know his parents very well.
We had so many great times. I have so many fun memories that included John. I remember when he got his VW Bug. One night John, my brother Tom and I actually put a 6 foot Christmas tree in that car. We had so many laughs.
I also remember when he announced that he met you and he "liked" you. He thought that your were going to be "The One"!
John was the kindest and funniest guy. Your loss must be profound.
Please give my condolences to your family.
Take care.

How very sad I was to find the news about John. What a dear friend & what wonderful memories. I'm a former employee of Life Fitness in Franklin Park also. I had sent xmas cards to keep in touch & hadn't heard from John. Then 6 mos. ago, John had called one day out of the blue & it was so wonderful to hear his voice. I've missed him so much & hoped to visit him. I'm so saddened by this news & so sorry that I won't get to see him or hear his great voice again. All my love & sympathy to all of you.
