John Cody Obituary
John was born in Dubuque, Iowa on May 5, 1950 to Jack Cody and mother Irma Cody. John will be remembered for both his kindness and his love for family above all else. John took the greatest pleasure in spending time with his children and grandchildren. John was a man of traditions and family Christmas trips to Iowa, warm summer White Sox games, weekend visits to see his grandkids and St. Patrick's day parties he hosted for 16 people will be treasured memories.
John was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Erin & Ryan Robinson, Adam and Lisa Cody and Tim and Jenna Cody. Without question the joy of John's life were his 8 grandkids that all have the gift to have known him; Kelly Robinson, Mary Robinson, Will Robinson, Braden Cody, Elise Cody, Grace Cody, Harper Cody and Patrick Cody.

It was an absolute pleasure talking to John at work each day. He treated everyone with the utmost kindness and respect, always making sure we weren´t working too late. John was a wonderful person that will be missed.

I interacted with John almost every day at Bosch. He was always a joy to speak to. He did love his kids and grandkids as well as inquiring about my kids. Always made you feel good and that he was interested in your activities but most importantly the kids. You could tell he was a strong family man.
