Dr. Grayhack was a great man and physician, he was my doctor for over 20 years. He frequently bragged about his grandkids who he loved so much. Dr. Grayhack was more than a physician to me, he cared more about his patients and than any doctor I've ever had, he spent time listening and responding to each and every concern. He went as far as giving his home phone number to me in case any problems arose. In Dr. Grayhacks passing the world has lost a great man and a great mind. I will forever remember him.

He was the most kind and gentle doctor I have ever had treat me. Quiet spoken, honest and non judgmental. He had earned his retirement but I was oh so sorry to see him go. His treatment cured my cancer 20 years ago. And now he resides with the angels. God's speed.

Today, in Cali, Colombia, with great regret we learned of the passing of dear Doctor Grayhack. I (Lyda) had the opportunity and honor to work with him at his research lab from 1975 to 1986.
Although since 1998 when we returned to Colombia, we had no more contact with the dear and unforgettable friends from Northwestern University, we always remember with fondness and nostalgia the wonderful time we shared there.
We extend our feelings of affection and solidarity to the family of Doctor Grayhack as well as to the faculty and friends of the Urology Department at Northewestern Medical School.
