Just heard about the untimely passing of John. I worked at I.D.O.T. with him and rememdber his vette,he was so exicted about it.My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time.

Dear Nancy and family. We just learned of John's passing, and are tremendously saddened. There was no greater ambassador to the Ukrainian culture than John. He was a true friend to us, and champion to the new arrival of Ukrainians to Chicago. An extremely warm and funny guy to share a beer and a good story with. I'll remember fondly watching Klitchko fights in John's basement, Nancy's baked ham,laughter and dancing afterward. What a guy. What a friend. What a loss. Laurel Kozij

John had a heart the size of the Pacific ocean. There is NO ONE like him. A true authentic original. It was an honor to know him, and he will be greatly missed!

My uncle john was truly an amazing man who will be missed deeply by his family and friends. I love you Uncle John, you were taken from us too soon but you are in a better place with Papa. We will all miss you, and your delicious cooking.
