John Francis Sandner
The Horatio Alger Association mourns the loss of John Francis "Jack" Sandner, 1998 Horatio Alger Award recipient. A successful businessman and generous philanthropist, Mr. Sandner was a supporter of the Association and its mission of ensuring the American dream for future generations. His contributions have provided young people with the scholarships, resources and confidence needed to overcome adversity and pursue a college degree.

We are grateful to Mr. Sandner for his support of our organization and extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
