John K. Tunney, age 66, of Mount Prospect, IL. Beloved husband of Pam (nee Bernardini). Loving father of Michael, Kevin (fiancée Carolina), Margaret (fiancé DJ), and Kari Tunney. Devoted son of the late William and Ann Tunney. Dear brother of Bill, Ann Marie, Jeanie (Kris) McGrath, Ed (Diana), Kevin (Kathy), Tom, and Debbie (John) Hunt. Cherished uncle, cousin, brother-in-law, son-in-law, godfather, Sigma Pi Brother, friend, coach, and colleague to many.

Memorial Visitation Friday, July 7th from 3pm to 8pm at Matz Mt. Prospect Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Rand Rd. Mt Prospect. Funeral Service Saturday, July 8th at 10:00 am at St. Emily Church, 1400 E Central Rd. Mt Prospect.

My husband, Art LaRue, was a fraternity brother & friend. I´ve known John for 43 yes. I´ve been blessed to have known him and call him a friend. You will be dearly missed John, not only as a friend, but importantly as a husband, father, brother. Pam, we are so sorry for you & your family´s huge loss. His memory will live on through you all.
