I served with Joe in the 4th of the 4th and the 5th of the 18th field Artillery and Joe was a great soldier, hard worker, and good friend. We had many laughs and beers together after several days, weeks, and months, of being in the field conducting our soldierly duties over the years he was in the U.S. Army. He was a very intelligent and kind person and will be well missed by all who knew him. My condolences go out to his wife and family. So long for now old friend.
