What a fitting service for Joe at St. Hubert's this morning. I was pleased to meet Joe's Mother and sister and to see so many of his golfing buddies. I had the privilege of working with Joe at USLife where he was an actuary and I was a programmer. At times it felt like I worked just for him; we had 350 programs but he always wanted to look at the data a different way. And, of course, we talked golf as I was from a golfing family in Texas. Joe was always upbeat and so friendly. He was liked by all at USLife and several times I joined him and others for happy hour at the local bars. Occasionally I would run into Joe in the Schaumburg neighborhood and we would catch up. Joe was a lovely person and I will miss him. May God grant him eternal rest.

Joey you are missed so much already! Grateful for the few years, we were friends. I miss seeing you at the golf course! No doubt you´re golfing in heaven & searching for stray golf balls! Till we meet again.....
