Josephine T. Leo

1930 - 2020

Josephine Teresa Leo, 90, passed away on December 14, 2020. She was born April 29, 1930, the daughter of the late Frank Granata and Frances Granata (Raschillo). Josephine married the love of her life, the late Frank Leo, on January 7, 1950. They spent 76 years together, 70 years in marriage. Their first "date" was when she was 14. Frank gave her a ride on his bike. Frank preceded her in death by four days. They always said that, when it was time, they would go together, a never ending love story. Josephine loved to dance, play cards and share "coffee and" with her many life long friends and extended family. She was funny and fun and opened her home to everyone; loving her family and friends with all her heart. She loved to cook and hosted years of family dinners and holidays. She was a wonderful mother who always put her children first. She was so proud of her children, Frank (Jill) Leo, Kim (Ken) Bruski and Robert Leo. The cherished grandmother of Caitlin Leo (Jorge Hadad), Jack (Ana Martinez Leo) Nicole Williams, Michael Williams and Frank, Luke and Jake Leo. As well as a wonderful great grandmother to James and Vivian Leo. She will be truly missed by her sisters, Mary Ann Marrera and Jeannie Heslop (La Montana) and her many nieces and nephews.
