Smietana (nee Filar); beloved wife of the late Stanley; loving mother of Kathleen (James) Bagneschi, Paul (Janet) and Victoria (Richard) Casale; cherished grandmother of 7; proud great grandmother of 7; dear sister of Jeanne (the late Frank) Magiera and the late Henry (Jean) Filar; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Josephine was a loyal and wonderful wife and mother but most importantly just an amazing, knid and selfless person who would give anything for her family and friends. Visitation Wednesday, November 19th, 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 333 S. Roselle Rd., Roselle. Funeral Thursday 8:45 a.m. to Holy Ghost Church. My deepest condolences to Josephine's family. It was my privilege to know her. She had a great sense of humor. I enjoyed being with her at Kim 's House at Christmas time. She was a sweetheart and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace - fly with the angels. God Bless and Keep you in his loving arms???
