I had written previously written of Judy's incredible spirit and work. Sitting here today, I appreciate even more how much of her legacy of concern for the marginalized, forgotten was such a gift and inspiration for us to continue that legacy today.

I recall back "in the day", when Judy loaned husband to build sets and be stage crew for the King and I, Oklahoma!, My Fair Lady, Music Man, and Anything Goes.
Through the years, Judy and I exchanged Christmas cards,
My sincere condolences to you, Lisa, and all your family!
I'll try to come to the memorial,
May Judy, Pat, Brian and all the deceased of the Allen family rest in peace and rise in glory!

We were neighbors when I was a child. We were friends as we both participated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Your Mom was always a kind heart with a beautiful smile. I was blessed to have her in my life.

I never met your mom, but I knew her through you, the loving, caring smart daughter she raised. My deepest sympathy to you, Lisa, and to all your family. You will carry on the Blessing that she was.

The very first thing that happened to us the day we moved into our home on the 5200 block was that Judy showed up with a chocolate cake. My kids acted like it was Christmas. She was just like that - always organizing the block for safety, for cohesion and for ice cream out of the sidewalk. Her memory is a blessing.
